Restaurant Boustan in Montreal

Absolutely in love with this place! We come here every time we visit Montreal!

No masks being worn. Terrible hygiene! And the portions are so small. Not even comparable to its peers.

The most authentic and delicious falafel, fattoush and rice I’ve had in ages!! Environmentally friendly packaging and rapid service as well. Very impressed by the efficiency and quality here.Unfortunately they were servicing their air conditioning unit when I was there and the odour was awful. Like sour milk or rotting chicken! Please air your place out ASAP!I can’t wait to return🙏🏻

This review is solely based on food delivered. The new container is plastic and although I rather have another material. Good part is I will use it again other purposes. I ordered a mix plate. Shish taouk and shawarma. It came with coleslaw instead of the regular salad. Coleslaw is tasty though so no complaints here. The potatoes were good and rice was alright.But the stars aka the meat were really tasty but sadly the portions were small. One thing I do remember about Boustan (the one on Crescent) is the amount they give you. Maybe it was one off but I will give them another try for sure.

You know already the food at Boustan is delicious. But I was shocked at the poor level of hygiene at this location during COVID-19. The fellow preparing the food wore no gloves, touched his face, touched the food, at one point the glass. Didn't see him once wash his hands. I was uncomfortable and should have said something. Came home and immediately microwaved the food to reduce risk. It was delicious, but customers deserve higher safety standards.

Fantastic. We were staying across the street and went twice. My girlfriend is now in love with their garlic potatoes

Perfect food hygienic. I really enjoyed the Lebanese food in this restaurant. It reminded me my old time spent in Lebanon. I recommend this restaurant guys !

it does not even deserve 1 star. They hang up on us this morning with no manner of professionalism two times while placing an order on the phone. Disrespectful service staff. Never calling again or going to this place where staffs don't respect customers.

Terrible experience. Soggy food received at home, you literally can’t eat it. Vegetarian plate tested blended and not fresh.

Pretty bipolar reviews online. But I personally enjoyed it as the price is not so bad but you get a lot out of it. Pita bread with hummus, basic stuff, is very good so don't take people's word when they say its not so good. Try it yourself.

I ordered 4 sandwiches, one beef, one mixed shawarma and two chicken skewer sandwiches. Skewers were amazing, they had that incredible bbq taste. Shawarma pita was huge and great too. I absolutely loved the food and I am very disappointed that I didn't order from here before. Also 4 sandwiches for $30? That's great value! The service was exceptional considering the difficult times we are having, we should be thankful for any place that feeds us, especially places like this that still delivers quality food..

I'll never get tired of Boustan. Affordable delicious food with huge portions, ready in a minute. Truly the best place for a quick late night meal.

It was going to be the first time I was going to try this place but the employee told me and other customers to go away, that the place was not ready for service yet even it was open. After that experience, I am not coming back; is not the way to treat people...not to mention customers.

Very very disappointing. Ordered a mixed plate and there was barely any chicken! Not only this, the food was cold and not seasoned properly (other boustans are much better). Very sloppy workers. Waited over 15 minutes for order to be ready. Do not recommend and would not come back here.

The guys here are so so sweet, I love them! :) I always come here after a night out, and the food is just awesome!

Boustan's is always awesome, this joint doesn't quite compare to the original on crescent, but still an amazing classic

Really liked the vegitable options they have on side. Food quantity is very generous for the price. Their kofta kabob were really soft and chewable unlike many other places. Would like to go there again. Place is clean and tidy. The only bad thing is they did not had all the meat options available that were on menu.

Very good. Was one of my favorite place to order from. But they reduce the portions so much. We are sad :-(

Great spot for late night food. The guys that work the night are Bangladeshi and they're amazing.

Wrapped dry meat with little to no oriental spices.For the price, the wraps should have more garnish and sauce.

For a night fast-food they deserve 5 stars. Everything is fresh, and the food tastes amazing! Prices are reasonable, there are healthy options, everything was super clean and they respect all the COVID measures which is really appreciated. Will become a regular customer there!

Boustan food is awesome. But the staff there don’t put gloves on while making the sandwich, in this specific period.

Really good experience! Had the schwarma combo and it was enough for me! Everything looks fresh and tasty! The price is okay (~11$) I recommend that restaurant and will come back for sure!

I requested if they could use gloves, something you'd think restaurants would be cautious about during COVID times, and their response back was "it's not mandatory". Well okay, thank you for focusing on your business revenue, but disregard caution and hygiene.

This is my fav shwarma and falafel in all of Montreal. The grilling of the pita on an actual grill makes such a difference, gets the pita so crispy...an addiction of mine. Staff usually super fast and friendly

Extreme average tbh. Good flavour in the chicken wraps but was dry, and could have used more meat and like idk moist veggies. Not bad, would probably go again if walking past and felt like that kinda thing at the moment but not my go to place to be completely honest.

I usually order from boustan which is a best place for shawarma. But today I was shocked to see that there is literally two tiny pieces of chicken in a chicken shawarma. Felt really bad. We are supporting local restaurants in this tough times but these kind of carelessness makes me feel really bad

the WORSTTT shawarma ever ! basf taste ! dry chicken and tastless ! it has nothing to compare with middle eastern shawarma 1 Its fake ! Never order from this place

The worst poutine ever. I don't think you should call this a poutine. You can't make it without fries. The sauce is wattery and not enough cheese. Usually I don't care but this was insane.

We tried the mixed shawarma plate and both Beef and thr chicken shawarmas were juicy and fresh.

They have no clue about flafel, their flafel is soggy probably microwaved. Secondly why would lay a layer of salad underneath flafel, just put is on side. Totally disappointed

I love this place, the food was amazing!!!! Very friendly staff awesome serves and the food is really cheap!!!! Highly recommend it for anyone who is visiting Montreal!!! The restaurant serve halal food!! Right on main st. Catherine st. Open from 11am-4am!!!!

The best Boustan franchise in town! Definitely worth the money! (And it's cheap for the quantity and quality of the sandwiches that you get!)

Went for a night snack, due to covid it was takeout of course. There was no hand sanitizer in sight. People behind counter had no masks or gloves, the last straw was one of those guys started sneezing and rubbing his nose while working!!! Ran out of there like a road runner. 😂Never gonna set foot inside that restaurant again.

Love the falafel and chicken shawarmas, as wraps and as a platter. Price is affordable and service is quick. Open till late and conveniently located near Place des Arts.

Garlic sauce should be equally spread in the Pitta, for consistency in taste to enjoy it. That’s a basic requirement for a successful shawarma. Second, the chicken quantity is minimal. Nothing cheaper nowadays than non-organic chicken breast... the pita it’s tasty but need better preparation.

Food took an hour to arrive and it gave me food poisoning. You're better off going the the Bustan on Crescent.
